We know what we’re talking about.

What we don't often acknowledge in discussions about product/market fit and consumer impact is the divergence of interests across the various stakeholders. Everyone along the capital stack, the management, and the brand is competing for a slice of the value chain.

I always wondered why flight attendants and gate agents behave the way they do when customers need help around time constraints. Behavior that is often unhelpful and inhospitable. Seems like their organizations haven't really understood, or cared to invest, the resources needed for their employees to deliver consistently remarkable guest experiences.

Innovation doesn't always have to mean an earth shattering patented technology. Sometimes, simply transferring a method from one industry to another can be quite powerful.

I'm not so sure we should go back to the way things were. The past year (2020) undoubtedly has been a series of extraordinary events, shared by the entire world - seems like a once in a lifetime occurrence for each person across the age spectrum on the earth to be connected by one event. And even more notable is that a bat brought us to that common ground.

Mediocrity is running rampant.

What’s been clear from day one is that this has not, nor will be, the American experience for many others. For most of my life, I couldn’t figure out why my family was able to thrive while so many other communities struggled so deeply.

Because of this era where the South Asian arts community is finally getting a foothold in our mainstream culture, I, an Indian British turned American, loosely Hindu, and so many of us South Asians are finally seeing specks of our own experiences woven into the creations of these artist at a compounding rate. Giving us a stable sense of belonging and creating a path for us to bring our whole selves, which directly connects to our well-being and what we think is possible for us in our various roles as professionals, first generation immigrants, and parents.

When looking for just the right part of the city to bring our flavor of hospitality, we knew it couldn’t be anywhere else. That’s why we landed here.
